PORTUGAL DAY CELEBRATED

ACAPO in collaboration with Regional Councillor Martin Medeiros hosted a flag raising ceremony for Portugal Day and it was followed by a community BBQ where everyone enjoyed the euro Portugal soccer game at the Brampton Garden Square.“I would like to thank Jose Estaquio and ACAPO for hosting a successful flag raising ceremony in honour of Portugal Day.  I would also like to thank all the residents that came out to Brampton City Hall and Garden Square for Portugal Day making this day a great success!”  At the flag raising ceremony, Portuguese individuals/organizations in Brampton that were recognized for outstanding community service included  Alfonso Tavares, Cilia Bento, Frank Alvarez, Local 183, Amigos Portugueses Of Peel Memorial and Joe Eustaquio
