Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested a male party in regards to a road rage incident in the City of Brampton.
On Friday March 17, 2017 at approximately 12:39 p.m., the victim was involved in a road rage incident while driving northbound on Highway 410 approaching Queen Street in the City of Brampton. A male party stopped his vehicle and approached the victim brandishing a machete. The male party struck the victim’s car with the machete and threatened to kill the victim.
There were no injuries to the victim.
Police were able to identify the male using dash cam video from the victim’s vehicle. The dash cam video also showed the male to be driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen.
On Monday March 20, 2017, Jasvir SEDHA, a 31 year old male from the City of Brampton was arrested and charged with-weapons dangerous, utter threat to cause death, possession of property obtained by crime, fail to comply with recognizance, breach of probation order
Jasvir SEDHA was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice at the A. Grenville & William Davis Courthouse in the City of Brampton on March 20, 2017.
