Police Appealing for Witnesses in Mississauga Shooting Incident

Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are appealing for witnesses to a shooting incident in Mississauga.

On Tuesday November 1, 2016 at approximately 8:40 p.m., police received numerous calls reporting gunshots at an apartment building on North Service Road near Camilla Road in the City of Mississauga.

A 33 year-old male victim from Mississauga was located suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a Toronto Trauma Centre with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as male, in his 20’s, approximately 5’9” feet tall, wearing a gray coloured hooded sweater.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached. If anyone comes into contact with the suspect, or knows his whereabouts, they should contact police immediately.

Investigators would like to speak to any individuals who were in the area of North Service Road and Camilla Road in the City of Mississauga at the time of the incident or anyone who may have information on this matter.
