An Indian-origin man has been arrested in the US after he went on a violent, naked rampage, threatening to shoot staffers at an Indian eatery –for a simple reason that he was served with a dish that had onions. Yuba Raj Sharma (43) was arrested after the confrontation at the All India restaurant, in Pittsburgh. The argument began when servers put onions in Sharma’s order. He returned the next day drunk and told the owner, Ravinder Singh, that “he was going to shoot him“. He then pulled down his pants, exposed himself and taunted the owner.

Teens rescued after 3-day ordeal in Paris catacombs

Two teenagers were rescued from the catacombs beneath Paris after getting lost in the pitch-black tunnels of the underground burial ground for three days.The two, aged 16 and 17, were taken to hospital and were being treated for hyperthermia after being found by search teams and rescue dogs in the early hours of the morning.

EU Parliament backs Paris climate goals

The European Parliament backed curbs on EU states’ emissions  to share the burden of the bloc’s Paris climate goals and forge ahead despite President Donald Trump’s decision to pull the US out of the 195-nation pact. It voted 534 to 88 in favour of binding national targets for slashing greenhouse gas emissions to achieve the bloc’s overall goal of emissions at least 40 percent below 1990 levels by 2030.
