Pahlaj Nihalani and his Central Board of Film Certification have struck again. On the receiving end this time is upcoming film Bank Chor. Buzz has it that the censor board is not very happy with the title of the film.

While the makers thought they were clever enough to camouflage the exclamation under the seemingly innocuous garb of ‘Bank Chor’, the CBFC is not ready to budge. According to reports, the makers of the film have been asked to re-dub the words ‘Bank Chor’ every single time they appear together in the film.

Now that is a Herculean task at hand for the filmmakers given the very name of the film to the title song to the numerous times the words have been used in the film.

Bank Chor, which stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Vikram Thapa and Bhuvan Arora, is directed by Bumpy. The film is slated for a June 16 release.
