Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne (seated right) and Chief Minister of Maharashtra DevendraFadnavis (seated left) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Hyderabad. With many mutual interests, the new MOU will make it easier for Ontario and Maharashtra to work together in areas of shared priority, including urban infrastructure, information and communications technology, advanced manufacturing, agriculture and financial services. Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade Michael Chan (right), Associate Minister of Health and Long-Term Care Dipika Damerla (second from right) and Maharashtra Principal Secretary to the Finance Department Dr. KshatrapatiShivaji (third from right) looked on. On Thursday, seven agreements were signed between Ontario delegates and their Indian partners in Hyderabad. This is in addition to the 39 agreements signed during the Premier’s visits to New Delhi and Chandigarh. Agreements signed on the mission total $112 million.
