One World Kitchen Goes Toe to Toe with the Best Cookbooks in the World

One World Kitchen is a fresh new cooking series starring five captivating female cooks with five global perspectives -Thai, Indian, Argentinian, Italian and Japanese. Lively, fast-paced and entertaining, this award-winning series serves up mouth-watering dishes such as Kimchi Hot Pot, Channa Masala and Deep Fried Churros and shows that you don’t always have to reach for the take-out menu to enjoy the world’s most popular dishes.

Gusto TV has the pleasure of announcing that theOne World Kitchen cookbook has made the shortlist for Best TV Cookbook (English) in the World in the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.
One World Kitchen is facing off against the best cookbooks in the world. The shortlistincludes titles from acclaimed UK chef and restauranteur Rick Stein, Kunal Vijaykar, Clodagh McKenna, Emeril Lagasse, MasterChef New Zealand winners Kasey and Karena Bird, and MasterChef South Africa’s Seline and Leandri Van der Wat.
One World Kitchen has been an instant smash hit for us – both here in Canada on Gusto TV as well as abroad through our international sales division,” says Gusto TV President and CEO Chris Knight. “Now that the cookbook has won Best TV Cookbook in English in Canada, we’re excited to see how it will do internationally. Can’t wait ’til May 29th to find out!”
The One World Kitchen cookbook was recognized as Best TV Cookbook in English in Canada in the Gourmand Cookbook Awards earlier this year, while the series itself received the Gold Panda Award at the Sichuan TV Festival in Chengdu, China in November 2015 and was a finalist in the 7th Annual Taste Awards (aka the Tasty Awards), which were held at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco last month.
