Toronto Nov 19, 2016:Heritage Beyond Borders is Non- Profit Multi-Cultural organization established since 2007 that aims at promoting tolerance and understanding of diverse culture with the principal mission of promoting “One Heritage One World” –Todays diverse community comes from different parts of the world and amalgamates into this Canadian society. Unity in Diversity is the mantra to a strong society.

Their 9th Anniversary was celebrated with an Annual Dinner at the Grand Palace Convention center.Few distinguished individuals and organizations were recognized for their strenuous efforts in promoting the harmonious cultural diversity of the land. MP Salma Zahid and MP Shaun Phen, who signify the strength in diversity in this great nation of Canada, graced the occasion and handed the awards to the recipients.

This year along with the regular celebrations the guests enjoyeda beauty pageant “Miss Heritage Canada” reflecting the diversity in culture and heritage. Every participant showcased their pride in their heritage.Ms Philippines, Jurice was crowned Miss Heritage Canada 2016, 1st runner up was Ms China and 2nd Runner up Ms Greece

The guests swayed to some melodious singing, enjoyed a fashion show, danced to some Greek music and of course not to forget the sumptuous food.

Being part of this event makes me quote Kofi Annan

“We may have different religions, different languages, different colored skin, but we all belong to one human race.”
