Noida to stage Duleep Trophy

After hosting the Ranji Trophy last December and playing host to the Afghanistan for a year, Greater Noida’s Shahid Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium will stage the Duleep Trophy from August 23.In a first, the tournament will be played with a pink ball under lights. The stadium will host all the four games of the tournament, including the final, which will be played from September 10-14.Top stars like Tests skipper Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan may miss the initial stages of the event.
