The grills were hot and the food abundant at MPP Harinder Malhi’s 2nd Annual Community BBQ at the Brampton Soccer Centre. This year, along with the BBQ outdoors, the Community and Governments Services Fairs was setup indoors with many government offices and community organizations providing information about the services offered.
Young and old alike enjoyed the food, music and camaraderie for the day with other constituents from the riding along with Harinder, her family and staff from both the constituency office and Queens Park. While the youngsters played and enjoyed the amusements of the clown, the adults enjoyed the music, food and information provided at the community services fair. Kids most certainly enjoyed the fire truck that is a major attraction for both young and old at Harinder’s BBQ that pays a visits from the Brampton Fire and Emergency Services.
“Thank you to everybody that attended! I was so thrilled that many Brampton residents were able to share their afternoon with me and join us for our annual BBQ and Community Services Fair. The diversity and togetherness of the community definitely was evident! Members of the community were thrilled to meet with representatives of the various community partners and government organizations to take in helpful information, each had at the community services fair.”
