On Wednesday, September 27th, MPP Harinder Malhi hosted the North American Sikh League Charitable Foundation, from Brampton, on their visit to Queen’s Park.  Their visit was one of the excursions they arranged for the club members on their trip to Toronto.  The club members enjoyed watching Question Period, in the House, where the Member officially welcomed them.  Following Question Period, the seniors took a tour of Queen’s Park, ending with a commemorative picture on the Grand Staircase.  MPP Harinder Malhi (Brampton-Springdale), MPP Harinder Takhar (Mississauga-Erindale); and MPP Vic Dhillon (Brampton West), joined the Senior’s Club for a picture to celebrate their visit to Queen’s Park.  MPP Malhi thanked the club’s executive members:  Surinder Singh Sandhu, President; Amarjit Singh Jammu, Vice-President; Devinder Singh Chohan, Secretary, Davinder Singh Chhokkar and Gurdev Singh Buttar.

“I was pleased to host the North American Sikh League, from Brampton, at Queen’s Park, this week.  This excursion to Toronto is just one of the many events and trips the Seniors Club arranges for its members.  I commend the executive for the work they do to engage seniors and provide them with this type of experience.”
