Ms. Ruby Sahota, Member of Parliament for Brampton North, was greeted and recognized last weekend by leaders in the Muslim community for her assistance in working with the Office of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness to remove language used in the 2018 Public Report on the Terrorism Threat to Canada that unintentionally maligned certain communities.

“As the Member of Parliament for Brampton North, I have always made it a priority to be accessible and to encourage the community to bring their concerns directly to me.” said MP Sahota. “I am truly thankful to the community and the various community leaders that are in attendance today for their support in assistance to removing hateful terminology from the report, and for their support over the years and into the future.”
