Self-styled chief of the Khalistan Liberation Force Harminder Singh Mintoo reportedly told interrogators about expansion plans of KLF through Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

Days before the jailbreak, he had his last Skype chat his Pakistan handler Harmeet, a KLF militant who managed to flee to Pakistan, and is living in a safe house under protection of ISI at Dera Chall village in Lahore, reported media from India. As per reports, Germany based KLF  sympathisers were sending money to Mintoo through Western Union Money Transfer. On the day of jailbreak, on November 27, around lakhs of rupees were deposited in a bank account account, which was supposed to be handed over to Mintoo by Shagun Sweets owner, who was arrested by the Punjab Police, but Mintoo managed to flee, so he couldn’t get the money, reported media from India.

Mintoo has revealed of having strong base in Goa. His family shifted to Goa in 1989 and raids are being carried out in Punjab to look for Satnam Kaur, media from India reported.

High alert sounded in Haridwar, Dehradun

In a major development, a high alert was sounded in Haridwar and Dehradun after finding an abandoned bag containing 3 uniforms of Punjab Police.

Also, police officials are conducting checks in Manglaur (Haridwar) area.

“We are suspecting that the uniforms could be of the ones who helped gangsters escape from the Nabha jail recently,”  Manikant Mishra, SP told media.

“We have maintained alert, especially in Haridwar and Dehradun, to keep a check on mischief by anti-social elements,” DGP of Uttarakand MA Ganapathy said. “Uniforms have tailoring marks from Ludhiana; have sent a team there to check and enquire who got it stitched,” DGP Uttarakhand MAGanapathy added.
