After a plea by Born Free star Virginia McKenna, British Airways has agreed to carry an injured cuckoo to Italy after she was too sick to migrate with the rest of her flock, reported a daily from UK. She was put aboard the cabin of a Turinbound 747 on Tuesday, accompanied by vet nurse Lucy Kells from the Wildlife Aid Foundation in Leatherhead.
