Sonam Kapoor has been going strong with her Delhi based business man Anand Ahuja. As per reports, not only Sonam but the Kapoor family is also very fond of Anand. The latest could be heard that papa and veteran actor Anil Kapoor wants the two tie the  nuptial knot. As per reports, Anil feels if everything is fine between them and there is no point to delay.

A leading daily from Mumbai quoted its source as saying, “Since Sonam is sure of her feelings for Anand, her father feels there is no need to delay the marriage. Of course, friends are advising Sonam and her dad against her marriage so soon, as they believe it would affect her career. But Sonam is not bothered about such things. They will marry as soon as they both sort out the practical issues.”

Anand shares a great rapport with the Kapoor family and he was also spotted in various family functions and parties of the Kapoor.

Sometime back when Anil Kapoor was questioned about his future son-in-law, he quipped, “It is not my place to speak about Anand, that is entirely Sonam’s prerogative and I have not known her to speak about her personal life. All I can say is that Anand and I are both private people and the bond we share is too personal for me to discuss with the media.”

The ‘Neerja’ actress, who celebrated her 32nd birthday with Anand Ahuja in Delhi, chose not to speak about her personal life. She told the media “I don’t want it to be written about. That has to be under my control. Everything else in my life is completely out of control. People are always saying things about me, on social media. They are always judging the way I look, the way I stand, the way I eat, the way I act, the way I speak. I need to protect others who come into my life because that person hasn’t signed up for what I have. Why should he or she have to go through that? It’s not fair. It’s private and I don’t believe in talking about it. I will not hide it but I will not talk about it either.”
