Markham Regional Councillor Joe Li is committed to bringing his experience from the City of Markham to the Ontario Government and will seek the Markham-Unionville Nomination for the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party.

He has represented Markham and York Region Council for the past seven years.  With his proven track record on Council his major accomplishments include:saved taxpayers’ dollars- Spent Zero Council Discretionary Budget; better government transparency by introducing policies like mandatory By-election for Markham Council Vacancy and was Instrumental in bringing an elected York Region Chair. He also Introduced sustainable waste management technologies to Markham  and showcased Markham’s diversity by bringing various community groups together.
