Manje Bistre 2 brings traditional Punjabi wedding to Canada!

A visual treat for all the audiences, one of the most anticipated Punjabi movies of the year, Manje Bistre 2, starring Gippy Grewal and Simi Chahal, will hit the theatres on April 12. Through this film, the traditional Punjabi families residing in Canada and their wedding customs will be presented onscreen. The story of this film is based on grandfather-grandchild relationship.The grandson wants to get married in Canada, where he has been brought up, but his grandfather wants him to get married with traditional rituals in Punjab. Finally, it’s decided that the wedding will take place in Canada but with Punjabi rituals. Producer Gippy Grewal and co-producers Jaggi Singh and King Randhawa will be shown collecting Manje Bistrey in Canada. Gippy Grewal’s home banner, Humble Motion Pictures, has shot the entire film in Canada.

The dialogues of the film have been written by Naresh Kathuria. It was directed by Baljeet Singh Deo. Besides Gippy, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, BN Sharma, Sardar Sohi, Raghavir Bid, Malkit Roni, Rana Jung Bahadur, Gurpreet Bhangu, Hobby Dhaliwal, Harbi Sangha, Banerinder Buni, Jaggi Singh and Davinder Daman will be in the cast.

Baljeet Singh Deo, director of the film, said, “Manje Bistrey 2 will be a memorable film for the Punjabi cinema audience. It will surely be liked by audience of all ages. It will be quite different from the previous movie, and this time, the entertainment will also be double.”
