Mandana Karimi files complaint against husband

Former Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi has filed a domestic violence complaint against her husband Gaurav Gupta, whom she married in January. This comes a day after Mandana reportedly filed for divorce. She has mentioned in her complaint  that she was barred from entering her home by Gaurav. Her mother-in-law is reportedly accused of harassment too.  “I was thrown out of my matrimonial house seven weeks ago. I made desperate attempts to reconcile with them, but my in-laws didn’t allow me back. Gaurav has cut me off,” she has been quoted by media in India.

Distributor upset with Salman

Actor Salman Khan’s big Eid release Tubelight, directed by Kabir Khan, has performed so far below expectations that distributors claim they’ve suffered losses of `40-50 crore. According to reports, the distributors will meet Salman in a bid to recover their losses.

Younger Bedi to play DAD!

Actor Angad Bedi is now all set to make a documentary on his father Bishan Singh Bedi, portraying his life before and after becoming an outstanding cricketer of the Indian cricket team. With the latest trend of biopics made on sportspersons in Bollywood, he wants to make a documentary on his father who was one of the major cricketers of India back in the 60s and 70s.  Angad Bedi, who himself started his career by playing cricket for the Delhi for the under-16 and 19 teams, wants the people to relive his father’s cricket journey and his personal life journey as well.

Bishan Singh Bedi is an inspiration for cricketers of the present generation and thus Angad feels that his life journey may inspire many more.

WONDER WOMAN BEATS BATMAN, SUPERMAN

Wonder Woman is now the top-grossing film within the DC Extended Universe of films, at the US box-office. According to Entertainment Weekly, the film has made $334.9 million (`2168.6 crore) so far, whereas last year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice earned $330.36 million (`2135.9 cr).
