Suhaag Show celebrates 21 years

Canada’s most anticipated South Asian Fashion, Bridal & Jewellery Event, SUHAAG opened its doors at the Toronto Congress Centre to the many eagerly lined up brides and grooms on Sunday, February 11th. The first 300 brides were gifted with giveawayscourtesy Vasanti Cosmetics. The show proved to be a ‘must see’ event with a packed house of excited attendeesvisiting from booth to booththroughout the day.

Touted as North America’s largest South Asian bridal affair; SUHAAG certainly did no disappoint. With over 150 vendors, the event showcased a variety in wedding fashions, the latest in hair & makeup, photography, desserts, bridal stage setups, jewelry,and so much more. In addition, the exquisite and inspirational décor made for some unique selfies. Guests even danced in celebration of their day with some of our live entertainment vendors includingdhol playing acts, deejay performances, and even high energy violinists. Food, snacks, taste samples were also provided by vendors, making for a full wedding experience.

For the main event, families flocked to the stage during two fashion showshosted by OMNI’s own Riti Sharma. The latest in South Asian bridal fashion was featured showcasing 15 of the GTA’s Top boutiques and designers.The audience watched in awe as they consulted with one another on their favourite designs. One of our lucky brides also walked with a prize package of anAll-inclusive 7-night land stay at Barcelo Maya Grand, Mexico (Barcelo Group).

The event,undoubtedly, was another huge success with the support of our main sponsors: The Toronto Star, Metroland Media Group, Absolute Wedsite, Dr. Neil Gajjar Dentistry, Weekly Voice, PTC, Apna Taste, and WPIC.

With a full day of action and consultations, guests also had the opportunity to purchase the highly anticipated 2018 edition of SUHAAG Magazine, the publication’s biggest fashion and beauty edition ever! The magazine also featurescontent on parenting, health, entertainment; and of course, tips and tricks to help every bride with their special day.
