Katrina Kaif in pain, to undergo surgery

Delaying an appointment with the dentist has caused a lot of pain for actress Katrina Kaif. She has been fulfilling her commitments, attending events and parties with a swollen face, due to an infected wisdom tooth, reported media from India.

The actress has been bearing great pain for all of last week. She took antibiotics but delayed visit to the dentist, and now the condition has worsened so much that she has to undergo a surgery.

“Her wisdom tooth has been acting up. She neglected it and attended two events — a party thrown in honour of photographer Mario Testino in Delhi and Anurag Basu’s’s Saraswati puja after her return. She went to Breach Candy hospital to have the surgery but was sent back as the tooth had become too infected. Now the doctors have told her she can only have it done next week once the infection settles,” a source close to Katrina was quoted as saying.

A daily quoted its source as saying, “She attended another event  She is on antibiotics and is feeling sick because of them, but she didn’t want to cancel her appointments. She wants to complete her work commitments as she can rest later. Today, she may go to the hospital to have the surgery done.”
