Katie Holmes has fired her old security team as they are very close to her estranged husband Tom Cruise. The team consisting of a bodyguard and driver worked for Cruise for years, before he had even met Holmes.
And when the ‘Mission Impossible’ star hooked up with the 33-year-old actress, he assigned the duo to her full-time. The security team worked directly for the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actress for years, but on Monday, Holmes appeared with a new security detail made up of 5-6 bodyguards and neither the old bodyguard nor the driver was anywhere in sight, a leading celeb magazine reported. She let the old team go after filing for divorce last week because of their allegiance to Cruise. It’s unclear if the duo were Scientologists. The last time Holmes was seen with her old security team was last Tuesday. She filed for divorce on Thursday.
