“My sexuality has no relation to my music” Demi Lovato

Singer Demi Lovato has said that she prefers to keep her romantic life private but hints that she will speak about her sexuality in her upcoming YouTube documentary, titled Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated. The LGBTQ ally, who received the GLAAD Vanguard Award — presented annually by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation — in 2014, said that her sexuality has nothing to do with her music career and hence she doesn’t like to discuss it with the media. “I just feel like everyone’s always looking for a headline and they always want to be the one to break what my sexuality is. I feel like it’s irrelevant to what my music is all about,” says Lovato. “I stand up for the things that I believe in and the things that I’m passionate about, but I like to keep my personal life as private as possible.”

The singer added that she will answer a lot of questions in her documentary, which is scheduled to come out on October 12. “Because if ever I want to talk about it, I want it to be on my own terms. I love who I love,” says Lovato.
