Inquest into the Deaths of Jeremy Huber and Eugene Llewellyn Announced

Dr. Karen Schiff, Regional Supervising Coroner for West Region, Hamilton Office,  announced that an inquest will be held into the deaths of Jeremy Huber and Eugene Llewellyn.

Mr. Huber, 39, died on September 4, 2015, and Mr. Llewellyn, 54, died on July 15, 2016. Both died in hospital as a result of injuries sustained while working at separate construction sites. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.

The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding their deaths. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
