The India Development Foundation Overseas Indians (IDF-OI) is a not-for-profit Trust set up by the Government of India to enable philanthropy/ contributions from NRIs/PIOs to social and developmental projects in India.
We are happy to announce that Hon’ble Minister of External Affairs and Chairperson of IDF-OI, Smt. Sushma Swaraj inaugurated IDF-OI’s Online Payment Gateway on 31 July, 2016, in New Delhi.
Overseas Indians can now contribute online to projects pertaining to Swachh Bharat Mission, National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) and projects in States of India through IDF-OI’s website https://idfoi.nic.in/contribute.aspx.
Main features of the Payment Gateway are:
- a) You can contribute as an individual, or a group of individuals or even through your respective Indian Associations.
- b) You can either contribute to IDF-OI Pool Fund or to projects in your preferred State or Sector.
- c) Minimum contribution online is US$ 100.
- d) Project Sectors: Education, Sanitation, Healthcare, Women’s Empowerment, and Sustainable Livelihood
- e) IDF-OI does not recover any administrative cost from contributions received from Overseas Indians.
To contribute online, you have to log onto IDF-OI website www.idfoi.nic.in , click on the “Contribute Now” tab on the top right corner, register with IDF-OI and follow the directions to complete the donation.
