Disney’s first male princess

In an inclusive move, Disney has presented the first-ever male princess in one of its television shows! Disney XD channel’s Star vs The Forces of Evil is chronicling the adventures of an inter-dimensional princess, called Star Butterfly (voiced by Eden Sher), and her human teenage roommate Marco Diaz (Adam McArthur).
In a recent episode, the viewers witnessed Marco dress up as Princess Turdina to salvage the life of students at St Olga’s Reform School for Wayward Princesses from the wicked headmistress, Heinous.
But just as Marco is about to reveal his real self, Heinous turns up and pulls down his shirt to reveal a strand of chest hair. And that is when one princess shouts, “That doesn’t prove anything. Princesses can be hairy.” “Yeah, we believe in you, Turdina,” another royalty shouts in support. A fellow princess points out, “Why does it matter if he’s a boy? Nothing he said was wrong”. Whereas another adds, “He can be a princess if he wants to!” and with other exclaiming, “Turdina is a state of mind.”

Prince Harry to marry US actress Meghan Markle

Britain’s Prince Harry is engaged to his US actress girlfriend Meghan Markle with the marriage due to take place in the spring of 2018, his father Prince Charles has announced.
Harry, 33, currently fifth in line to the British throne, and Markle, 36, best known for her role in the US TV legal drama “Suits”, became engaged earlier this month.
The couple met in July 2016 after they were introduced through friends. Prince Harry publicly confirmed their relationship months later in a rebuke to the media, which had been intruding into Markle’s private life, but it was not until September that they made their first public appearance together at the Invictus Games in Toronto, a sports event for wounded veterans. Markle, a divorcee, has appeared in a number of TV shows and films, such as “Horrible Bosses”. She too has had prominent roles as a humanitarian campaigner, such as working as ambassador for World Vision children’s charity.
The youngest son of heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles and his first wife Princess Diana, Harry was once the wild child of the royal family who admitted smoking cannabis and getting drunk when under the legal age limit. But since enjoying a successful military career which saw him on active service twice in Afghanistan, he has secured a place as one of Britain’s most popular royals.
The wedding is likely to attract huge attention across the globe.

Taimur’s birthday plans revealed

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has revealed how she and husband Saif Ali Khan plan to celebrate their son Taimur’s first birthday in December. “Well, it’s going to be a family affair. It’s not going to be a big Bollywood party. It’s his first birthday and he should be with his family — his parents and grandparents. It’s going to be a small intimate thing,” she said at a fashion event.

Singer refuses to sing song from Padmavati

Singer Shreya Ghoshal, who has sung the song Ghoomar, for the film Padmavati, refused to sing it at her concert in Mumbai recently. As per reports, fans requested Shreya to sing the song, featuring Deepika Padukone, who plays the titular role. Shreya replied, “That’s a tricky name”, but did not sing it. The film and the song have been accused of showing distorted historica l facts.

Emma Watson splits with Knight

Yet another celebrity couple has come to the end of the road. Emma Watson and her boyfriend of nearly two years, William ‘Mack’ Knight, have called it quits. The 27-year-old actor and the 37-year-old tech entrepreneur were first spotted together back in October 2015, when they attended the Broadway musical Hamilton.
After shooting to fame as a child star playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise, Watson graduated from Brown University in May 2014. Knight received a Bachelor’s in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton in 2003, as well as an MBA from Columbia Business School in 2011.

Brett Ratner barred from a salon

Brett Ratner, who is from facing sexual harassment allegations multiple women, has been barred by a posh salon in Beverly Hills. Ratner will no longer be entertained at the Sally Hershberger’ s La Cienega branch, where he has been a regular. Earlier this month, six women claimed that he sexually harassed them, including Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge. Ellen Page accused him of homophobic behaviour.
