Seventh annual celebration takes place September 30 to October 2
Brampton, ON: Culture Days is a Canada-wide celebration representing the country’s largest public participation campaign undertaken by the arts and culture community. This national program invites the public to explore, discover and participate in arts and cultural events in communities across Canada.
Culture Days events are free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to participate and discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, filmmakers, curators and designers at work in their communities. The City and its community partners create flagship events, and offer space and resources to encourage local cultural organizations to take part.
“A vibrant arts and culture community makes a city stronger. The annual Culture Days event is a time for us to showcase the enormous talent and creativity that exists right here in Brampton. I invite everyone to participate in the many fantastic free activities on offer. You can discover and support our wonderfully talented local artists and cultural offerings,” said Mayor Linda Jeffrey.
Over 90 free activities and three flagship events are expected to take place in Brampton as Culture Days celebrates its 7th annual weekend. Brampton Culture Days was ranked the third highest in organized activities in Canada in 2015 and won the Culture Days marketing award in 2014.
