BRAMPTON, ON, August, 29th, 2016,this Sunday, Ms. Kamal Khera, Mr. Raj Grewal, Ms. Ruby Sahota, Ms. Sonia Sidhu, and Mr. Ramesh Sangha, the five Members of Parliament representing Brampton, hosted a community barbecue.  The event was open to all residents with complimentary food, music, and fun activities.  Over twenty-five hundred residents came out to meet their Members of Parliament and to have a relaxing Sunday with their friends and families.

“What a beautiful day to enjoy the afternoon with our constituents”, Ms. Khera said, “It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces and many more new ones”.

Since their election in October 2015, the Brampton Members of Parliament have been working hard to represent Bramptonians in Ottawa.  All five Members of Parliament have spent the summer attending local events and meeting with residents to address local issues and to provide assistance with federal services, including immigration, employment insurance, and income tax assessments.

The Hon. Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science, and Economic Development and Ms. Iqra Khalid, Member of Parliament for Mississauga – Erin Mills stopped by to support their colleagues.
