Bipasha Basu to make her small screen debut

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu is gearing up to make her debut on the small screen soon. The actress who made blood run cold with her horror films like “Raaz 3”, “Aatma”, “Alone” will will host a television series titled ‘Darr Sabko Lagta Hai’.

According to a leading daily from India the actress will begin shooting for the upcoming show in a few days. The ‘Jism’ star happily agreed to be a part of the show after she came to know the names of all those who were associated with the series.  

The series comprises of several horror stories and Bipasha will feature in each episode of the programme. “She is a part of the story but not inside it. She plays herself and looks at what unveils from the outside. She will be there in every episode,” said Priti Sinha, one of the many producers of the show.

Priti’s father and producer of Aamir Khan and Salman Khan starrer ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, Vinay Kumar Sinha is also a part of the tele-series.

The episodes of the series will be aired on Zee Entertainment’s &TV channel every weekend on Saturdays and Sundays. “There will be a creative director to oversee the show as a whole. But, different directors will helm different episode. We have around 20 of them for the 26-episode series, including Soumik Sen, Suparn Verma and Sangeeth Sivan to name a few,” Priti told the daily.

“For most of the directors, it is a first on television. They have a background in films which would add to the larger cinematic experience for the viewer. Even the spooks are not the kind you have seen on TV before,” she added.
