The Central Board of Excise and Customs of India has decided to make actor Amitabh Bachchan the brand ambassador for Goods and Services Tax, ahead of its implementation scheduled from July 1. A video, in which Big B calls GST “an initiative to create one nation, one tax, one market” has been tweeted by the finance ministry of India.

KATRINA  WON’T WORK WITH RANBIR

Actor Katrina Kaif ha said that “it’s difficult” to work with boy friend  actor Ranbir Kapoor. At a promotional event for their upcoming film, Kat was asked if she’d be willing to sign more films with Ranbir. “It will never happen again. People now have proof he’s a very trying and testing person. Ranbir has also gestured [to me] to not work together,” a leading daily from Mumbai quoted her as saying.

Nargis Fakhri turns singer

Model-actress Nargis Fakhri who debuted in Bollywood with Rockstar has been living in Los Angeles for the last eight months. And now she is back in the Mumbai to promote her singing debut, an Indo-Canadian single, Habitaan Vigaad Di.

Nargis features as a ‘fantasy chick’ in the music video and has crooned the Punjabi chorus. Parichay had composed two tracks and had sent it to LA out of which Nargis picked up the track she loved the most. The duo filmed the video in Toronto, showcasing the city’s popular 1800-feet high communication’s tower and other amazing views.

“Faced a lot of rejection” Lee

Singer Amy Lee struggled hard to get into movie songwriting. The 35-year-old recently penned the song Speak to Me for the upcoming thriller, Voice From the Stone, but it took a long time to get her work noticed, reports Female First. “I felt like movie song writing was a hard wall to knock down. I’ve written for many films but the song didn’t get used. It’s happening more for me now,” Lee has been quoted by a celeb magazine from US.
