Singer Asha Bhosle shared a picture on Twitter proving how technology is taking over in the real world. Asha said she had good company travelling with her from Bagdogra to Kolkata. Though the singer is seen sitting on a sofa, looking at everyone, while others in the room are glued to their phones.
She tweeted thanking Alexander Graham Bell. She wrote, “Bagdogra to Kolkata. Such good company but still, no one to talk to. Thank you Alexander Graham Bell.”The message was retweeted over 2,800 times within minutes.
Kapil and Wife celebrates first Lohri in style

Actor and comedian Kapil Sharma celebrated his first Lohri with his wife Ginni Chatrath at a party in Mumbai. The couple had married in December last year in Jalandhar.
Many Bollywood and television celebrities, including Rajkummar Rao, Tusshar Kapoor, Anu Malik and Aparshakti Khurana, were seen at the party organised by Charan Singh Sapra, president of NGO, Punjabi Cultural Heritage Board. Rajkummar Rao was the first to arrive and was seen enjoying the traditional songs which were sung by playback singer Tarannum Malik. Aparshakti Khurana was seen enjoying on the tunes of Punjabi music. Music composer Anu Malik sang a couple of songs too on the request of his fans. Actor Tusshar Kapoor said, “Lohri signals the end of winter and the advent of spring so the celebration reflects warmth.”

Actor Sizemore arrested for drug possession.

Actor Tom Sizemore was arrested by Burbank Police on the charges of drug possession. As per reports, the 57-year-old actor was pulled over by the police near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Evergreen Street. During the consented search of the actor’s vehicle, the police found “various illegal narcotics”. They arrested Sizemore and another passenger for misdemeanour possession and both posted a $1,000 bail before being released later that day.
‘FOCUS ON SOLDIER’S EMOTION, NOT ART’
In the wake of the Uri terrorist attack, Pakistani artistes were banned from working in the Indian film industry. On this, actor Vicky Kauhsal has said, “If even one soldier, fighting for us in the jungles, desert or at Siachen, is feeling the pain that ‘what am I fighting for and why am I fighting,’ then I think rest everything aside, we should only focus on that one soldier’s emotion rather than art.”

Elliott to be 1st woman rapper to enter Hall of Fame

Missy Elliot will script history as she gears up to become the first woman rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. According to EW, the recording artiste will be honoured at a June 13 ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Elliott has album such as “Under Construction”(2002), “This Is Not a Test” (2003), and “The Cookbook” (2005) to her credit. “I want to congratulate all the amazing songwriters who have been inducted into the 2019 ‘Song Writers Hall of Fame’. “Also those who were nominated because their body of work is amazing I am so humbly grateful to now be inducted also I (love) you all,” she tweeted of the honour.
