Anxious fantasy football team owners have waited out two weeks so far during Josh Gordon’s four-week suspension. Gordon is in trouble after he didn’t respond to multiple subpoenas regarding a paternity case. He is currently suspended for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
As per reports, Gordon failed to comply to a court order for a DNA sample. He also didn’t show up to a hearing on Aug. 31. According to the report, Christina Lockhart claims that Gordon is the father of her 1-year-old daughter. Lockhart is looking for child support from Gordon. Gordon, 25, is eligible to return to the Browns for its Oct. 9 meeting with the New England Patriots. He hasn’t been able to stay out of trouble since being picked up out of Baylor in the first round of the 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft. He hasn’t taken an NFL snap since 2014. Gordon has played well when he actually makes it onto the field, with 161 receptions for 2,754 yards, and 14 touchdowns in 32 games.
