A Pakistan court has issued an arrest warrant against legendary cricketer Wasim Akram for continuously missing 31 hearings in a “road rage” case filed by him. Akram, 50, has missed the hearings of the case that was filed by him in 2015 after his vehicle was fired upon in Karachi. The police had described it as an incident fuelled by “road rage”. The left-arm fast bowler had lodged a complaint with the police, after which a case was registered. Akram, however, has not appeared before the court in 31 hearings to testify in the case. A judicial magistrate had issued a bailable warrant against the cricketer.
