Aamir takes Dangal to Dharmendra’s village

Aamir Khan is currently in Ludhiana, Punjab shooting for his upcoming film,”Dangal”, a biopic based on wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. The actor who is shooting in Ludhiana for the past weeks will now head to another village called Dango, for the next shooting schedule.

Interestingly, this village, which is in the Pakhowal Tehsil in Ludhiana, is veteran actor Dharmendra’s ancestral village. “When Aamir learnt that Dango is Dharmendraji’s village, he got so excited that he called him up immediately, and told him about it,” a leading daily from Chandigarh quoted is sources as saying. Apparently, Dharmendra, too, was quite excited to learn that  Aamir will be shooting in his village Dango, and he wished him all the best for the rest of the shoot. “They chatted about the film at length. In fact, Aamir has promised Dharamji that he will organise a special screening for him as soon as the film is ready,” the daily quoted its source as saying. .
